About Me

My name is Victoria Siegrist. I am a qualified and experienced English teacher,
specialised in teaching children to read and write.

With a dream to explore another country, I moved to Switzerland from the South
coast of England, over fourteen years ago. Over the years, I have worked as a
teacher in various public and private nurseries and schools.

Since becoming a mother of two multilingual children, my passion for teaching
languages has grown further. Children have a natural creativity and motivation to
learn. Creating an environment with creative and active activities, enables them to
learn a new language in a fun and playful way (this works for adults too!)

After a few years of private teaching in my students’ homes, I am excited to have
found a classroom space and to be opening The Little English Hut in Sissach.

The Little English Hut welcomes children of all ages, as well as teenagers and
adults. Classes are offered for both native and non-native speakers at all ability
levels.
